Glassy Quartz

Glassy_edited.jpg

Glassy Quartz is a high-purity, amorphous form of silica (SiO₂ content >99.9%) known for its excellent thermal shock resistance, optical transparency (UV to IR), and outstanding chemical stability. It is non-crystalline, electrically insulating, and highly durable, making it suitable for precision and high-temperature applications.

Key Applications:
• Semiconductor and electronics manufacturing
• Optical components and lenses
• Laboratory equipment and crucibles
• UV lamps and solar energy systems

Why Quartz

Quartz is a versatile material used in a wide range of applications, from electronics and glass manufacturing to jewelry and building materials. Its unique properties, like piezoelectricity and hardness, make it valuable in industries like electronics, construction, and even medicine.

4

Electronics & Semiconductor

Quartz crystals are used in electronic oscillators, clocks, and timers due to their ability to vibrate at precise frequencies. Quartz tubes are used in the growth process of silicon ingots and wafers, which are crucial for semiconductor production.

5

Construction

Quartz is used as a building stone, particularly in regions where it is abundant.  Quartz sand is a key ingredient in concrete, glass, and ceramics. It's also used in the production of building materials like countertops and flooring.

7

Industrial Applications

Quartz is used in various industries including glass making, refractory industry, metallurgy, abrasives, petroleum industry and many more.

8

Other versatile uses

Quartz is also used laboratory equipments, water purification, health and wellness and even in jewellery.
